Do I need to bring my own gear (such as boxing gloves) for the trial class?

For students attending their first trial class, M.Y Studio provides sanitized boxing gloves and hand wraps free of charge. To ensure the highest standards of hygiene, all equipment undergoes rigorous disinfection after every session. If you decide to commit to long-term training, we recommend investing in your own pair of gloves for personal hygiene and a more customized fit. Our team is always happy to provide professional advice on selecting the gear that best suits your needs.

How effective is Muay Thai for fat loss?

Muay Thai is globally recognized as a highly efficient "total-body fat-burning workout" that seamlessly combines aerobic and anaerobic training. On average, a single hour of Muay Thai practice can burn between 600 to 800 calories (depending on the training intensity). Even in our Sparring sessions, we strictly require all participants to wear comprehensive protective gear under the full supervision of our coaches.
